New Employees for GEG's Malvern Office

New Employees for GEG's Malvern Office

GEG are delighted to (rather belatedly!) welcome two new employees for our Malvern office. After initially obtaining a degree in Geology in 2010 (2:1), Alan Taylor graduated with an MSc (Distinction) in 2011. He subsequently worked as a Geo-Environmental Scientist for Constructive Evaluation Ltd in Chichester successfully undertaking numerous Phase I and Phase II Geo-Environmental Assessments in London and the south east of England. Finally undertaking a rather belated 'year out' to travel the world he joined GEG in October 2016 as a Geo-Environmental Consultant after relocating to the West Midlands. Since then he has quickly become part of the excellent Malvern team, managing a number of GEG's projects. After obtaining 8 No. GCSE's in 2008, Kelly Oakes has undertaken a number of further education courses, most notably MS Word and Excel (2 day), NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service (2010) and an Apprenticeship in Business Administration (2015) which she undertook whilst working as an Office Manager at Energy Systems Malvern (2014-2016). Unfortunately the company did not survive the reduction of the green energy subsidies and went bankrupt in August 2016. Kelly then decided to be volunteer teacher for a charity called Restless Development in southern India for 4 months before joining GEG as an Office Administrator in December 2016. A much needed role to aid our engineers and our MD!
